Youth L.E.A.D. empowers underserved teens as food justice activists through training, food demos, and service learning projects. The afterschool program runs from September through December, and youth apprenticeships run from January - May. Our Featured Students are part of a coalition of empowered youth activists who address food & environmental justice issues in under-served communities. Trained youth outreach workers conduct surveys to gather feedback concerning food, health, and more in their neighborhoods.
