Youth L.E.A.D. educates and empowers young people to adopt healthy, sustainable behaviors and advocate for food & environmental justice in their schools and communities.
YL will be training the new Youth Peer Educators this summer to prepare them to conduct 2-hour food justice workshops this Fall. The afterschool program runs from September through December each year, and youth apprenticeships at farmers' markets run from January to May.
